SES & VMR provides support to SES volunteer Units, Groups and members and Emergency Services Cadet Groups throughout the State. Support is also given to Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, Volunteer Marine Rescue Association Queensland, Royal Life Saving Queensland and Surf Life Saving Queensland.

VMRAQ has 25 affiliated Squadrons located throughout the State of Queensland, Australia and these Squadrons provide marine search and rescue services to the boating public on a volunteer basis.

It is estimated that our unit has conducted well over 5,000 rescue activities ranging from simple tow jobs to participation in full scale search and rescue tasks (SAR).
